by Richard Johnson-Sheehan, Technical Communication Today Pearson New International Edition Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Technical Communication Today Pearson New International Edition books, Technical Communication Todayremains the only text to fully centralize the computer in the technical workplace, presenting how writers use computers throughout their communication process. Writers use their computers to help them think, research, compose, design, and edit. Not only is Technical Communication Today firmly rooted in core rhetorical principles, but the text also presents computers as thinking tools that powerfully influence how we develop, produce, design, and deliver technical documents and presentations. Clear instruction not only describes technical documents, but also guides the reader through the activity of producing them. Technical Communication Today helps communicators draft and design documents, prepare material for print and Web publication, and make oral presentations; by bringing computers to the foreground as thinking tools, it accurately reflects the modern day computer-centered technical workplace. Technical Communication Today speaks to today's students and how they expect to learn information. Instructional narrative is “chunked,” so that readable portions of text are combined with graphics. Not only does this presentation facilitate learning, but it also models the way today’s technical documents should be designed. Additionally, the chunked presentation integrates an awareness of how documents are read–often “raided” by readers seeking the information they need. By mirroring these processes in its content and structure, Technical Communication Today offers a higher level of accessibility for readers.

The Influence Of Values On Consumer Behaviour PDF Full

by Erik Kostelijk, The Influence Of Values On Consumer Behaviour Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download The Influence Of Values On Consumer Behaviour books, Substantial progress has been made in the conceptualization of values within psychology. The importance of values is also acknowledged in marketing, and companies use values to describe the core associations of their brand. Yet despite this, the values concept has received limited attention in marketing theory. The Influence of Values on Consumer Behaviour aims to bridge the gap between the conceptual progress of values in psychology, and the current practice in marketing and branding literature. It proposes the ‘Value Compass’, a comprehensive value system that is cross-culturally applicable to consumer behaviour and brand choice. The values concept is used in psychology to identify the motivations underlying behaviour, a concept that marketers have borrowed to define brand values. This has led to conceptual confusion. Whereas in psychology the values system is perceived as an integrated structure, in marketing, values are treated as abstract motivations that give importance to the benefits of consumption. Attention in marketing has shifted away from brand values toward brand personality, a set of human characteristics associated with a brand. Despite its popularity, brand personality has limitations in explaining consumer behaviour, while the potential merits of a brand values concept have remained largely unexplored. The book presents a meaningful alternative to the brand personality concept and promotes the benefits of using the Value Compass for assessing the effects of brand values and personal values on consumer choice. As such, it will be essential reading for academics and postgraduate students in the fields of marketing, consumer psychology, branding, consumer choice behaviour and business studies.

Child And Adolescent Development PDF Full

by Anita Woolfolk, Child And Adolescent Development Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Child And Adolescent Development books, Child and Adolescent Development is an exciting, first edition that offers teacher education a new child development text organized with a chronological approach. This means that descriptions of the physical, cognitive, and social and emotional development of children and adolescents are spiraled throughout the text as discussions examine the characteristics of and the developmental milestones of four major stages of development; infancy and toddlerhood, early childhood, middle childhood, and adolescents. Each text part investigates the significant changes that happen during that developmental period and discusses what may influence body growth, brain and motor development, language, intelligence, parent and peer relationships, and self identity. Unique to this text is how the discussions are written from a global perspective, not only illustrating the universal and diverse contexts in which children and adolescents grow up but also demonstrating how cultural contexts cultivate the development of language and impact children's and adolescent's world views and their growth. In Child and Adolescent Development, knowledgeable and revered authors, Anita Woolfolk and Nancy Perry, explore the implications and applications of the best research in child development. They provide reliable and practical guidelines to help prospective teachers, and other professionals who intend to work with children and adolescents, recognize typical and atypical development and learn how to support the development of children and adolescents in positive ways.
